It has been 6 1/2 months now since we have been watching baby "W" grow. All I can say is text book pregnancy, by the page. Have you ever read "What to Expect when you are Expecting"? If so, that would be the story of my life! The first trimester morning sickness, the diziness, and and let's not forget the moodiness! It has all happened and sure enough, the second trimester as predicted has been the best of all! Without the stretching and constant movements I wouldn't even know I am pregnant!
It is absolutely amazing each and every time she moves inside of me. Being able to feel a foot or elbow run across the top of my belly or having her bottom resting nicely to the lower right on my bladder... I try to take in every moment that I can! I only wish Josh was here to experience this all with me... I suppose he will be soon enough!
I haven't had any crazy cravings, a slight increase in calories... and it is harder to exercise which gets cut out most days because of fatigue. The weather is really nice these days, so evening walks are on my agenda!
Mom and Mary Lou will be here in 3 weeks, we will get started decorating the nusery and of course do some sightseeing! We have the crib and dresser set up, unfortunetly the room is so small there is limited space... last night I found a glider which we will find a place for once Mom gets here and can help! Also the stroller, car seat and pack and play are downstairs waiting for the little one to arrive!
Parrish has realized something is up. She likes to cuddle my tummy, although we are still having to tell her to not jump directly on me! I think she is a little depressed that Josh is gone as well, they are buddies!
My 26th week check up will be Monday, I will find out the results of my last ultrasound.
Oh and I can't forget... for Mother's Day we will be going to 4-D imaging!! I am so excited to have Mom and M.L. there!
